Welcome to Paths. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Paths.
Paths is a goal accountability app that lets you track daily progress on personal goals and exchange encouragement with friends. The service is provided by Simon Elliott ("we", "us").
You sign in using Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining access to your Apple ID and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide an accurate display name (it does not need to be your legal name).
You agree not to:
You own the content you create in Paths (goal entries, encouragement messages, profile photo). By using the app, you grant us a limited license to store and display your content to the friends you choose to share it with. We do not claim ownership of your content.
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms and to suspend or terminate accounts engaged in violations.
If you encounter content or behavior that violates these terms, you can report it through the app. You can also remove friends at any time, which immediately revokes their access to your shared content.
You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, all your data is permanently deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.
Paths is provided free of charge. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We aim to keep the service running reliably but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Paths is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Paths. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us (which is zero, since Paths is free).
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Massachusetts.
