Paths ("we", "our", "the app") is a goal accountability app built by Simon Elliott. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
When you use Paths, we collect the following information:
We use your data exclusively to provide the app's functionality:
We do not use your data for advertising, analytics, profiling, or any purpose other than providing the Paths experience.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Your goal entries and encouragement messages are only visible to friends you have explicitly connected with via invite codes.
Our backend infrastructure is hosted on Supabase (which uses Amazon Web Services). Data is processed solely to operate the app.
Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers with row-level security policies that ensure users can only access their own data and data shared through accepted friendships. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.
Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from Settings within the app. Account deletion permanently removes all of your data, including:
Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
Paths does not track you. We do not use advertising identifiers, analytics SDKs, or any form of cross-app or cross-site tracking. We do not collect usage analytics.
Paths is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it.
